Services

Every trade a building needs, under one contractor.

From a roof repair to a full void refurbishment, our own teams cover the works that keep homes safe, compliant and looking their best.

Roofing works

Re-roofing, tile and slate repairs, flat roofs, leadwork and storm damage — pitched and flat, domestic and communal. Our own cherry pickers mean fast repairs, often without the need for scaffolding.

Groundworks & drainage

Drainage, paths, hard-standing, kerbing and external works — dug, laid and reinstated tidily.

Plumbing & heating

Repairs, replacements, leaks, tanks and heating works — reactive fixes and planned component renewals.

Electrical & testing

EICR testing, rewires, consumer units, fault-finding and repairs — certified and compliant.

Building repairs & carpentry

Brickwork, joinery, plastering, doors and windows — the day-to-day repairs a building needs, done right.

Kitchens & bathrooms

Full kitchen and bathroom renewals to Decent Homes and WHQS programmes — stripped out, fitted and finished.

Painting & decorating

Interior and exterior redecoration to a durable, tidy standard — communal areas, homes and commercial spaces.

Render & exterior cleaning

Softwashing render, K-Rend and pebbledash, plus brick, cladding and uPVC cleaned and restored.

Rendering & re-rendering

Hack-off and full re-renders in K-Rend, silicone, monocouche, pebbledash and traditional sand and cement.

Gutters, fascias & soffits

Clearing, realigning and renewing gutters, fascias, soffits and downpipes to stop damp and overflow.

Grounds & estate maintenance

Communal areas, grounds and estates kept clean, safe and presentable on a schedule that suits the site.

Void property refurbishment

Cleared, cleaned and refurbished to a lettable standard and turned around quickly for re-let.

Planned & reactive maintenance

Scheduled programmes and fast response for occupied and managed buildings, with clear reporting.

Rendering services

Render applied, repaired and restored.

Rendering is in our name — and we deliver it end to end. Where a coat has failed, we hack the old render off back to the substrate, prepare the wall properly and re-render from scratch in whichever system suits the building best: K-Rend, silicone and monocouche through to acrylic thin-coat, traditional sand and cement, and pebbledash or roughcast finishes.

And if your render is sound but looking tired, our low-pressure softwash cleaning restores it for a fraction of the cost of re-rendering — we'll tell you honestly which one your building needs.

Rapid access

Our own cherry pickers, for fast work at height.

Alongside our scaffold crews we operate our own cherry pickers — mobile elevated work platforms run by IPAF-trained operatives. For high-level repairs that shouldn't have to wait for scaffolding, they put us safely at eaves and roof level within minutes of arriving on site, with minimal disruption to residents and neighbours.

Before any work at height begins, the supporting documentation is prepared and issued as standard — site-specific risk assessments and method statements, machine inspection and operator familiarisation checks, and an emergency rescue plan — in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Copies are available to clients and contract administrators before we arrive on site.

  • Quick roof repairs — slipped tiles, ridge work and storm damage
  • Rainwater goods — leaks traced, downpipes repaired or renewed
  • Fascias, soffits and bargeboards repaired or replaced
  • Gutters cleared, realigned and re-run
  • Work-at-height documentation issued before every job starts
  • No scaffold hire and no long lead times — often on site within days

Drone roof & building surveys

Find the fault before paying for access.

Not every high-level defect needs scaffolding just to be diagnosed. Our drone roof and building surveys capture detailed, high-resolution imagery of roofs, chimneys, render, brickwork and rainwater goods in a fraction of the time — pinpointing the source of leaks and defects before any access equipment is booked.

That keeps costs firmly under control: no scaffold hire simply to take a look. You see the evidence for yourself, we agree the right repair, and access is only ever put up where work is genuinely needed. Survey imagery is shared with clients and included in our reports and quotations.

All drone operations are fully licensed and flown in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations — we are a CAA-registered operator, our pilots hold the appropriate CAA qualifications for commercial work, and flights are insured and risk-assessed before take-off.

Environmental cleans

Environmental cleaning, handled with care.

Some jobs call for more than a mop and a van — they call for the right equipment, the right protective measures and a team that treats every property and its neighbours with respect. Our environmental cleaning crews handle the work most contractors turn away, working discreetly in occupied blocks, void properties and communal spaces.

Every clean is carried out by trained, DBS-checked operatives under RAMS, with appropriate PPE throughout. As a registered waste carrier, we remove all waste under licence — accompanied by waste transfer documentation and disposed of at licensed facilities. Available as one-off responses or on a scheduled programme.

  • Void property deep cleans and full clearances
  • Fly-tipping and bulk waste removed under our waste carrier licence
  • Sharps and needle sweeps by trained operatives
  • Biohazard cleans carried out discreetly and safely
  • Graffiti removal and communal area washdowns
  • Bin stores, chutes and drying areas cleaned and disinfected

Asbestos works

Asbestos cleaning, done strictly by the book.

Our UKATA-trained teams (Category A & B) carry out asbestos cleaning and non-licensed removal works in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 — from clearing asbestos-containing debris and contaminated areas through to the removal of asbestos cement products such as garage roofs, guttering and soffits.

Every job is planned from a risk assessment, carried out under controlled conditions with the correct respiratory and personal protective equipment, and all asbestos waste is double-wrapped, consigned and disposed of at licensed facilities with full documentation provided to the client.

And if a survey shows the works fall within the HSE's licensed category, we tell you straight away and help you appoint an appropriately licensed contractor — we never work outside our permitted scope.

CDM 2015, Work at Height & Construction Phase Plans

All of our works are planned and managed in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Where we are appointed principal contractor, a site-specific Construction Phase Plan is prepared before work begins and kept live throughout the project — covering risk assessments and method statements, site inductions and supervision, welfare arrangements, and the safe management of the works around residents and the public. Health and safety documentation is available to clients and contract administrators on request.

All work at height — roofing, scaffold and platform operations alike — is planned, supervised and carried out in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005, by trained operatives using equipment that is inspected and maintained to schedule. Where work can be safely completed from the ground or with lower-risk methods, that is always our first choice.

FAQs

Questions we're asked a lot.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Caerphilly and work across South Wales — including Cardiff, Newport, the Valleys and surrounding areas — as well as the South West of England, including Gloucestershire. For larger contracts we can travel further; just ask.

Do you work for councils and housing associations?

Yes — social housing is our core work. We deliver maintenance, repairs and refurbishment for councils and housing associations, including Stroud District Council and Cardiff Community Housing Association, to Decent Homes and Welsh Housing Quality Standards (WHQS).

What is render cleaning and softwashing?

Softwashing is a low-pressure cleaning method that safely removes algae, dirt and staining from render, K-Rend and pebbledash without the damage high-pressure washing can cause. We also clean brick, cladding and uPVC, restoring the exterior without harming the surface.

Do you handle emergency and reactive repairs?

Yes. Alongside planned maintenance programmes we provide fast-response reactive repairs for occupied homes, communal buildings and managed properties — with clear reporting back to the client on every job.

Are you insured and accredited?

Fully insured with public and employers' liability cover, RAMS on every job, and DBS-checked teams for work in occupied homes. Accreditations include Constructionline Gold, SSIP and SafeContractor, with IPAF and PASMA trained operatives for work at height.

Can you fix roof problems without scaffolding?

Often, yes. We operate cherry pickers (mobile elevated work platforms) with IPAF-trained operatives, which lets us reach slipped tiles, storm damage, leaks, gutters and chimney-level repairs quickly and safely — without the cost or lead time of erecting scaffolding. Larger projects such as full re-roofs are scaffolded as normal.

Do you comply with CDM regulations?

Yes. We work to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 on every project. Where we act as principal contractor we produce a site-specific Construction Phase Plan before starting on site, supported by risk assessments, method statements and site inductions, and we keep it under review for the duration of the works.
